  Anuranjita Kumar is a Human Resources veteran of over 20 years and has traversed the world in various assignments. She has held a variety of senior Human Resources roles in Asia, North America and Europe. Currently she is Head of Human Resources for Citi, South Asia. Armed with her first-hand cross-cultural experience as a woman in the global corporate world and her deep-seated knowledge on diversity initiatives, Anuranjita has a keen interest on mentoring women.

  She been recognised as amongst the ‘Most Powerful Woman Leaders’ by Fortune India in 2013 and as “HR Professional of the year” by ABP Star News & HRD Congress in 2015.

  Throughout her career, Anuranjita has focused on developing commercially viable HR strategies, fostering global talent and cultivating a responsible and enriching corporate culture that believes in the progress of its people. She also actively engages as a coach for senior executives within and outside of Citi and has been accredited as an executive coach by I-coach academy in the UK and by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

  Anuranjita is a management graduate of XLRI, specialising in Human Resources. She attended Welhams Girls School and is a gold medallist in Psychology from Delhi University. She is keenly involved in volunteering with underprivileged children and enjoys spending time with her family, reading and travelling. She is also a certified diver and has explored some of the best known diving sites globally.
